I love working with people; actors, amateurs, kids. I want to find out who they are and how they see the world. I like to tune in to them, to see what it is like walking in their shoes. Then work with them to unlock warm, unique performances that stir our emotions and leave us with a smile.
I don’t ever expect to walk on set and begin working with children straight away. I invest time beforehand really trying to find out what they enjoy, winning their trust and finding out how I can shape the day into a big playtime adventure for them. I think this shows in the natural, joyful performances I capture on screen.
